Academic Requirements: Ph.D. Studies

Regular Track: 54 months
Direct Track: 42 months
Courses / Credit Points in Phyiscs

Students who started their studies before October 1, 2012 were required to accumulate 3 courses - regardless of the number of credit points assigned to each course [2 of them by the due date of the Interim Report and the last one by the due date of the Final Report].

In the
Regular Track:  3 courses
In the Direct Track:  All MSc courses + 3 courses

Students who started their studies from October 1, 2012 onwards are required to accumulate credit points:

In the Regular Track:  12 credit points
In the Direct Track:  All MSc credit points +12


Credit points must be accumulated from courses offered in the Physical Sciences program. Any deviation needs to be approved ahead of time.

It's obligatory to accumulate 8 of the required credit points by the time the Interim Report is due, and accumulatethe the rest by the deadline of the Final Report.

Safty Course
 
The Safety Course must be done during the first year of the student's studies.
Proposal + Exam
 
Regular Track: Due by the 12th month.

Interim Report + Exam

Regular Track: Due by the 30th month.
Direct Track: Submitted by the 18th month

Final Report + Exam

Regular Track: Due by the 48th month.
Direct Track: Due by the 36th month
Ph.D. Thesis + Exam Regular Track: Due by the 54th month.
Direct Track: Due by the 42th month
