M.Sc. Fellowships
The School does not admit M.Sc. students who cannot dedicate all of their time to full-time study and scientific research.

Entitlement
Candidates deemed suitable for studying at FGS are usually entitled to a fellowship for up to 24 months.

First Year M.Sc. Fellowship

	During the first year of studies the students will be entitled to a fellowship at a first year M.Sc. level.
	1st year M.Sc. fellowship is NIS 4,550

Second Year M.Sc. Fellowship

	Entitlement to a fellowship at a second-year master’s level takes effect in the month following the one in which the research proposal is submitted - subject to the approval of the research proposal and the completion of the credit points - or courses required for the first year.
	2nd year M.Sc. fellowship is NIS 5,475

Termination of Fellowship Payment
The payment of the fellowship will cease immediately upon completion of studies, and will not extend over more than two academic years. In cases where postponement of the submission of the thesis have been approved (not due to a prolonged illness, military reserve duty, or maternity leave), the FGS Dean will decide on each case individually, whether financial support should be continued for the postponed period or only part of it. In the event that extension of the financial support is approved, it will be paid for an additional period of up to three months only. Maternity leave, military reserve duty, or prolonged illness may entitle extension of the financial support accordingly (however, in most cases, within the period of 27 months). The fellowship will be terminated whenever students begin working and earning a salary. Students are obliged to notify the Graduate School of any such instances.
