Time Allocation
The Feinberg Graduate School policy requires that students participating in the program devote most of their time to research within the framework of the program.

Participation
Participation is OBLIGATORY in all the program activities (e.g. mini-symposium, lectures, and safety seminar) as well as in the extracurricular activities.

Absence from the Program Activities
Absence from any part of the program must be coordinated in advance with the Program Coordinator.

Absence from the Research Group
Absence of a day or more from the research group must be coordinated in advance with the Head of the research group AND with the Program Coordinator at the Feinberg Graduate School.

Research Hours
Scientific research never ends. However, participants in this program are expected to spend at least 8 hours per day at their research group.

Weekends
Weekends are usually considered as free time (please note that in Israel weekends consist of Fridays and Saturdays). Students may spend their weekends anywhere in Israel they wish. However, heads of research groups may request that their students be present at the laboratory for a few hours on Fridays for group meetings, special scheduled experiments etc.
