Indicating your Preference for Research Groups
Candidates are required to list, on the online application form, the name(s) of at least one but no more than three Weizmann Institute Scientists (heads of research groups) whose groups they would like to join within the framework of this program.

How to find Information on WIS Scientists and their Research Areas
The best approach is to thoroughly search the Weizmann Institute of Science website, consulting the various faculty and department sites. You may also find the following links useful:

Required Documents
1.

C.V. (If applicable please include information about previous experience in research, and list any publications that you authored. Please paste to the first page of the CV a Passport size Photo

2.

Current official and authorized Transcript (first year's and current grades).Overseas applicants: Transcript of grades must be originals with the logo of the university and signed by the registrar. An English translation signed by your university registrar must be submitted if the original transcripts are issued in a language other than English.

Letter of motivation (up to one page): A couple of brief paragraphs describing your interest in science and in the program and why do you believe you should be admitted.

4.

Reference Letter(s): It is obligatory to have at least one letter of recommendation written by a scientist or lecturer. Letters from workplaces not related to the student's studies will be ignored.

How to submit the documents online
Items 1-3 should be combined into a one PDF file and uploaded through the online application form.
 
Letters of Reference
All letters of reference should be emailed directly to the program email. The subject of the email should be as follows: Your full name + Undergraduate Reference Letter. Reference letters may be sent to FGS even before the candidate had completed and submitted the online registration form.
 
Changes and Updates
You may send by email updated documents up until the deadline (December 31st). They will replace your respective former documents.
