Direct Ph.D. Track
This track derives from the MSc program. It is offered to FGS MSc students towards the end of their 2nd year. 

Applying to the Direct PhD Track
Second-year M.Sc. students may apply for the direct PhD track during the first two weeks of the month of June in their second year of studies. Decisions are made during the month of July.

Status
Students accepted to the Direct PhD Track, based on his/her course and rotation achievements and on the advisor’s letter, will maintain second-year MSc status and complete all the course requirements for the M.Sc. degree. They must submit their M.Sc. Thesis / Ph.D. Research Proposal by the end of October of that year. Upon approval of the MSc Thesis / PhD Research Proposal their status will change to second-year PhD students.
